We offer the Highest Quality painting services AND we're Very Affordable ... How is that possible?

It's all about making smart choices. As a family owned and operated painting contractor serving the San Gabriel Valley since 1978, we know the value of a dollar. We maintain low overhead and pass the savings along to our clients. But it doesn't end there. Our painting crews are experienced and efficient. They don't waste time. They don't make expensive mistakes. They don't waste paint and other materials. We're proud of our painters, and their professional approach to painting your home or business. You'll feel proud too, when you see them on the job. What's more, in the long run it doesn't cost more to use high quality paint. When professionally applied by NuCoat's painters, your new finish will last years longer than if painted with inferior products. That means you save money.

Thorough Preparation and a Clean Finish

When you choose Nu Coat Painting you're assured expert workmanship from the beginning of the job to the very end.
When it comes to painting, thorough preparation is essential to a beautiful, long-lasting finish. The very first step is to work with the homeowner, listen carefully and understand. We help clients with color selection, wall and trim combinations and other factors. Next, we do a meticulous job of preparing the surfaces of your home for new paint. Our crews carefully mask and drape the surrounding areas before proceeding to power wash, scrape and sand the surfaces to be painted. The next step is equally important: expert application of only the high quality paints and finishes. We never use inferior materials. We recommend paints by Dunn-Edwards Benjamin Moore and Pratt & Lambert. These are the paint brands we work with most often. We can also work with other high-quality brands when a client requires it. But we won't work with inferior paint. It simply doesn't pay. Finally, demasking and thorough cleanup leave a sparkling fresh job that the homeowner can take pride and satisafaction in.

We never use inferior materials. We highly recommend paint manufactured by Dunn-Edwards, Benjamin Moore and Pratt & Lambert.

Nu Coat Painting's Service Area Includes Alhambra, San Gabriel, Temple City, Monterey Park, Rosemead and El Monte

Alhambra

The City of Alhambra prides itself as the (Western) gateway to the San Gabriel Valley. The city has about 93,000 residents and 29,000 households. It is a richly diverse city with a strong population of Asian/Pacific Islander-Americans and Hispanic people. Just eight miles from downtown Los Angeles, Alhambra was developed earlier than some of the San Gabriel Valley’s eastern suburbs. Consquently, one can find many homes with historical significance. Alhambra’s housing stock includes common styles such as Craftsman, Bungalow, Spanish Mediterranean, Spanish Colonial, Italian Beaux-Arts, and Arts & Crafts. Alhambra also has a large number of condominiums, rental apartments, and mixed-use residential/commercial buildings.

Temple City

Temple City is adjacent to and east of Alhambra. Temple City was founded in 1923 but not incorporated until 1960, in the midst of the postwar population and housing boom. 38,000 people live within Temple City’s approximately 4 square miles.

Monterey Park

South of Alhambra, along I-10, lies Monterey Park. It was incorporated in 1916 because locals wanted to prevent Pasadena from constructing a large sewage treatment facility in their community. An older suburb of Los Angeles, Monterey Park saw substantial development in the 1920’s at the dawn of Hollywood’s Golden Era. Growth continued in the 40’s and 50’s. Monterey Park is noted for its vibrant, Asian-American community. The city has roughly 60,000 residents and 20,000 households.

Rosemead

Rosemead is another city in Western San Gabriel Valley, and has a population of 58,000. Like Monterey Park and Alhambra, Rosemead has a substantial Asian-American community. Rosemead was incorporated in 1959. It is a dynamic city that is continuing to grow in both residents and commerce.

El Monte

El Monte is a substantial city of about 120,000. Served by the I-10 and the I-605, El Monte has residential areas, commercial areas and industrial areas. The city is proud of its historic status and the Western terminous of the Santa Fe Trail, stretching west from Missouris in the mid 1800’s. El Monte has an ethnically diverse and dynamic population with 72 percent Hispanic, 18 percent Asian, and 7 percent White.

The oldest standing home in El Monte dates back to 1849, the year of the California gold rush. The city continued to grow throughout the twentieth century and has a diversied housing stock to show for it. More recently, the City has undertaken a substantial effort to improve the appearance of its neighborhoods, and encourage well-architected, high quality housing development.

South El Monte

Nestled just South and West of El Monte is South El Monte, a community of 22,000. It split itself from El Monte and was incorporated in 1958. Since its start, El Monte has been a largely industrial city. Today, the City is taking advantage of its central location and is focusing its growth on a more balanced combination of industrial, retail and residential development.

Paint Suppliers Forecast 2013 Color Trends

When you move large volumes of paint, you know what's trending in paint colors. We checked with our key paint suppliers and discovered some exciting trends taking shape. What's more, we were struck by the distinct frankness of the designer's observations. One can well imagine the pressure on designers to come up with yet another upbeat, cheery, optimistic assessment of color trends. To do something other than that takes guts, and lots of it. But that's what they did. Take a deep breath and read on. You'll be just as surprised as us.
